Serious game: another vision of video games

Access to culture in all its forms is a universal need. The closure of cultural venues such as museums, cinemas and theaters affects us all.
At Gamabilis, our vision of video games is that they are a solution for maintaining access to culture and knowledge. We see video games as an educational tool for subjects such as history, geopolitics and ecology!
We’re convinced that video games aren’t just for gamers. They’re an excellent vehicle for informing, raising awareness and even preventing various causes.
Video games are the source of many prejudices, particularly in terms of violence, social isolation, addiction and so on. However, our conviction, shared by recent studies, is that gamification is an excellent educational tool for all age groups, and enables total immersion when visiting a museum or taking part in a concert.
For example:
“The MET made its collection accessible to over 13 million players on the Animal Crossing game developed by Nintendo”, according to Museum Next.
“Alonzo offered a virtual concert on Twitch in the game “GTA V” to raise funds for the Marseille Foundation” according to Le Mouv.
Gamabilis would like to offer you a different vision of video games, notably through our simulation game Roots of Tomorrow, which aims to make agroecology accessible. Discover the universe and the first images of our game on our website!
