Roots Of Tomorrow tournament awards ceremony at SIA 2025

Gamabilis and the Crédit Agricole Group worked together for a second time to organize the Roots Of Tomorrow tournament, bringing together teams from agricultural establishments in 15 regions (regional banks) across France.

The prize-giving ceremony took place at the Salon International de l’Agriculture on Wednesday February 26, 2025, on the Crédit Agricole stand.

A well-deserved podium

This year’s event focused on the management of a mixed farming operation, with a ranking based on the best overall score. Participants were evaluated according to the three pillars of agroecology: environmental, economic and social.

With three teams on the podium, the competition was tight, but it was once again the Lycée du Végétal de Beaune-La-Rolande who took first place and a cheque for €1,000. A victory that marks their second success in a row. VetAgro Sup in Clermont-Ferrand took second place, closely followed by students from the Chateaufarine training center.

A regional and national tournament

The regional tournament kicked off on November 18, bringing together some sixty teams from secondary and higher agricultural establishments. They had to meet the challenges of sustainable and resilient agriculture, by responding to environmental and climatic issues. After the month-long challenge, the best teams from each region competed between January 06 and February 06 in the national Roots Of Tomorrow tournament.
